This SilverCloud™ Sync Covert GPS Tracking Device module plugs into a vehicle’s On-Board Diagnostic Port (OBD-II) for real-time monitoring. The module reports changes in essential vehicle data including ignition on/off, low vehicle battery and low fuel alerts, excessive idling, braking, and acceleration, as well as alerts for tampering or check engine warnings. It’s the perfect way to monitor a fleet of commercial vehicles or a single one under surveillance. Real-time vehicle location is updated continuously and viewable on a browser by web application or on mobile devices including Android and iPhone. Or view driving history and playback with Google Map overlays or detailed text based reports.
Besides these core functions, the real power of live tracking comes from the flexibility of the location data. The device’s ShareSpot Option is an excellent way to inform others of a vehicle’s location for support or assistance. The included software package enables the user to define Virtual Geo-Zones which can be preset to alert by text or email when a vehicle enters a specific zone. Send and receive real-time route changes, SilverCloud Alerts when certain conditions occur, unlimited cloud storage of complete driving histories with full playback, location update frequencies up to 3 seconds, the applications are mind-boggling.
