It records full color video in a well lit room and automatically switches to infrared nightvision recording when the lights go out.

How you record is up to you. Program your device to record constantly, based on motion, or only during certain hours. It’s easy to set up your preferences. Just connect the camera to a monitor with the included RCA cable and access the device’s simple to navigate menu using its remote control. All video is stored to an SD card (not included), allowing you to play back files on a monitor or any PC.
